  • Classified platforms are expensive, with no guarantee of selling your vehicle.

  • Negotiations are difficult to track and awkward.

  • Insurance members cancel their insurance policy when they sell their vehicles. Buyers are unaware of Hagerty products.

How I contributed

  • Hired partners, Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, and Engineers.

  • Defined and communicated product strategy and business case.

  • Led objective and key result definition.

  • Assisted architects with data model and integration designs.

  • Tracked delivery and scaled teams to hit desired release timeframe.

  • Coached product teams through prioritization and experience design.

  • Coached cross-functional product team in collaboration and teamwork.

  • Orchestrated go-to-market planning across dozens of teams.

Hypothesis’s

  • If we market this new benefit to our existing 700k members, then we will be able to achieve a start of 1,000 listings.

  • If we market HDC and Insurance to buyers, we can sell paid products to 10% of buyers.

  • Through communication through our newsletters and social channels, we can maintain a sell-through rate of 15%.

Results

  • Exceeded the listing goal by 220%. 

  • Exceeded the cross-sell goal by 150%

  • Failed to meet sell-through rate goal.
